Installing the patches
The patches for Arctera InfoScale Operations Manager managed hosts and LMS can be installed using the License Management Service console.
Note:
If License Management Service is installed on a host that already has InfoScale Operations Manager, then patch installation operations of the managed host are blocked on the License Management Service console. You must use InfoScale Operations Manager console to perform the operation.
Note:
If License Management Service and InfoScale Operations Manager are installed on separate servers and the same Managed Hosts are added to both the servers, then ensure that the version of Managed Hosts that are to be upgraded is compatible with both the License Management Service and InfoScale Operations Manager. Refer to the Software Compatibility List (SCL):
To install a patch
- On the License Management Service console, click Software upgrades in the left pane, and click Uploaded patches tab.
- Click the Actions menu (three vertical dots) in the same row of the patch, and click Install.
- In the Install package panel, the list of hosts is displayed on which the selected patch can be installed.
- Select the required hosts and click Install.
- Click Activity monitor in the left pane to view the progress of the task.
