Managing faults
Using the License Management Service console, you can view the faults that are generated on the hosts. Faults are categorized in three types, Information, Error, and Warning.
Faults of the type Warning can be acknowledged and hidden for the next 24 hours. The total number of faults that are shown on the Dashboard do not have the Information type faults.
In the list of faults table, you can perform the following tasks:
Search the list based on condition type, faulted or source object, or fault type.
Refresh the faults data.
Add or remove columns in the report using .
To manage faults
- To view all faults, do one of the following:
On the License Management Service console, click the notifications bell icon on the top-right corner. Click Show All at the bottom of the list.
On the Dashboard, on the Faults card, click View all faults.
You are redirected to the Faults tab.
- Perform the search operation on the table if required.
- Hover on a row to view additional details about the fault.
- Click Acknowledge to hide the fault of the type Warning for the next 24 hours.
- For multiple faults of the type Warning, select the check box for each fault and click Acknowledge warnings above the table.
