A recent survey by the Enterprise Strategy Group highlighted that more than a third of organizations said improving data protection service-level agreements (SLAs) for data and applications was a top mandate from IT leadership. Although most already have SLAs for various aspects of their IT ecosystem—like performance, quality of service (QoS), or networking—the data protection SLAs in place often compromise quality. They do so mainly because supporting infrastructure and apps has been far too complex, expensive and loosely-integrated—until now.
