10.4.00P5 Patch Release Notes
The 10.400P5 release includes all patch fixes up to and including 10.3.00P13. The following software changes are included in this release.
Adds support for EMC Avamar to enable clients to be associated with multiple master servers (Avamar Grid).
On the Veritas NetBackup Data Collector screen the default schedule for the NetBackup Job Details probe has been updated to every 35 minutes.
Resolves a parsing issue that occurred during HP Data Protector data collection related to session information.
Resolves an issue with Dell EMC NetWorker collection, where jobs were incorrectly associated with a Backup Server, instead of actual clients. Advanced parameters are added to enable historical data collection:
Resolves an issue with on-demand and manual data collection for EMC Symmetrix, when there are multiple Unisphere addresses in a data collector policy.
Resolves a NullPointerException issue that occurred during scheduled collection of IBM SVC Array Performance.
Adds new error message to address when a user attempts to add multiple EMC Symmetric policies to a data collector.
Updates the Linux Data Collector, "aptare_agent" script to gracefully handle start, stop and restart of Agent services. Also moves the services pid files from <APTARE_HOME>/mbs/logs to <APTARE_HOME>/mbs/swap.
Adds a new system parameter under Admin>Advanced>System Configuration>Database Administration to control the size of the table apt_scon_log. You can now set the maximum size limit table.
Exposes a new system configuration setting in the Portal. Now, database DEBUG level logging while loading raw data and running the data collector test connection process is configurable. The new option is available to Super Users under Admin> Advanced> System Configuration> Database Administration.
Enhancements to the System Health Check report including a reordering of the displayed reports. In addition, an update has been made to the scope selector to choose the number of records displayed in those report types. For example, Top 25 Reports, you can choose the value and display the Top 50 Reports instead of the default.
In the SQL Template Designer, fields in the formatter pattern: date format, number format, decimal format have been disabled. These fields are legacy code and updates are made in the User Profile.
With this enhancement, the APTARE IT Analytics upgrader now validates the credentials for database users: portal, system, and aptare_ro as part of the pre-upgrade process.
Java heap settings have been moved out of the portal and agent startup scripts into the following locations:
For Linux: New settings will be shown after a restart of the services. For Windows: New settings will be shown after reinstallation of the services.
Resolves an issue with the System Health Check report to display the updated version of Apache.
Resolves an issue with the Inventory failing in a split architecture setup.
Resolves a UI typo in Host Collector Administration Paste Probe Settings dialog.
Resolves an upgrade issue and creates an error record when multiple records are found in the following: product_type and is_master field in apt_server_type table.
Resolves an issue with a bar chart created with the SQL Template Designer was skewed/padded and showing empty space on the side.
