Installation procedures for converting existing systems to a high availability configuration
The installation procedures for converting existing systems to a NetBackup 5330 high availability (HA) configuration are as follows:
Install the new NetBackup 5330 node (the partner node) in the rack with the existing NetBackup 5330 appliance.
Connect the new node to the Primary Storage Shelf.

Connect the new node to the existing node for HA communication.
Verify the hardware installation of an HA configuration.

Connect the power cords to the hardware.
Turn on the power to the new node.
