Selecting application servers for an object group
The object group defines the application servers that a user can manage. Currently application servers only apply to the VMware and RHV workloads.
You can preview the application servers that are included in an object group.
See Preview the objects in an object group.
To include all application servers, in all workloads
- Under Application servers, select Grant access to all.
To include all application servers, in a specific workload
- Under Application servers, click Add condition, then select the workload type that you want to include.
Select the Server Type, the operator, and the workload type.
For example, select Server Type > Is In > RHV to select all RHV application servers.
To include specific application servers, in a specific workload
- Under Application servers, click Add condition, then select the workload type that you want to include.
Select the Server Type, the operator, and the workload type.
For example, select Server Type > Is In > RHV to select all RHV application servers.
- Click Condition to add one or more conditions based on the Server Name. Conditions are case-sensitive.
For example, if you want application servers starting with a specific name for a specific workload.

In the following example, the object group includes application servers from the RHV workload and with a name that starts with RHVIT.
