Custom schedule options

Table: Custom schedule options describes the options that you can use to define the frequency of the scans.

Option

Description

Never

Runs the scan as and when required.

Once

Runs the scan once at the specified time and date.

Daily

Runs the scan once every day. You must specify the time when the scan should be run.

Weekly

Runs the scan once every week. You can choose to run it on every weekday, or on specific weekdays. Also, you must specify the time when the scan should be run.

Monthly

Runs the scan on the specified days of a month. You must specify the days of the month and the time when the scan should be run. Separate multiple days with a comma. For example, 2,5.

Custom Cron

Runs the scan according to a defined cron schedule. You can build strings in the cron format to specify custom schedules such as every Friday at noon, or weekdays at 10:30 a.m., or every 5 minutes between 9:00 a.m and 10 a.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays.
