NetBackup supports file-based certificates and Windows certificate store as external certificate sources
With NetBackup 8.2, you can use X.509 certificates that your trusted certificate authority (CA) has issued. NetBackup supports file-based certificates and Windows certificate store as external certificate sources.
In a clustered master server setup, a Windows certificate store as an external certificate source is not supported.
