Recovery wizard fails to browse for the selected Hyper-V server
The NetBackup Hyper-V Add-In Recovery Wizard fails to browse the restore location for the selected Hyper-V server on the Restore Options page.
The following error message might be seen:
Error Code : HostServerUnknown ; Message : Virtual machine host <hostname> is not associated with this VMM management server. ; Recommended Action : Check the virtual machine host name and then try the operation again.
If the VM is configured to be highly-available, then the Hyper-V server name is set to the virtual cluster name during the backup. Browsing the virtual cluster name is not supported.
Workaround: In the NetBackup Hyper-V Add-In Recovery Wizard and Recovery Options page, click and select a valid node within the cluster instead of the virtual cluster name. You can then continue with the restore of the virtual machine to an alternate Hyper-V server.
