Advanced Search, Filters, and Queries
The Advanced Search link located in the lower right corner of the basic search bar and the advanced search icon located on the left-side bar on the System Health Insights Home page, open the Advanced Search page.
It offers two interfaces to facilitate search - Query Builder (default) and Advanced Query, which principally work the same way in the background. The only difference is that, the Query Builder is a more visually interactive interface that allows plain text search as well as filters that are easy and quick to use for all users; while the Advanced Query is a syntax-based option more useful for the advanced users for complex searches.
You can use any interface to search within the portal. The search results in System Health Insights are always displayed in a tabular list-view.
Note:
The UID and Account Name fields in each row of the appliance list are linked to their respective dashboard summary views.
On the same page, in the Appliance List tab, you can use the Export Security Details feature to export all security information about the selected appliances in a CSV format. This feature is available only for Flex appliances running on version 4.0 and above.
To use this feature, filter by Appliance Family or Appliance Model and click Export Security Details next to the Export option. A pop-up will appear directing you to save the CSV file on the local system.
Predicted Capacity Utilization in Appliance List:
The Appliance List tab in Advanced Search also supports Predicted Capacity Utilization for appliances that have forecast data available. This feature is available only in Advanced Search > Appliance List and does not apply to Flex Instance Details or other dashboard views. The predicted value is displayed as a percentage with a utilization bar. When you hover over the utilization bar, the UI displays the forecast timestamp associated with that prediction. The percentage represents the predicted utilization for that forecast timestamp and is not necessarily the current utilization shown elsewhere in the portal. Minor differences between views can occur because values may be rounded to two decimal places.
Note:
Predicted Capacity Utilization may not appear in the table by default. Add it from Display Columns.
If forecast data is not available for an appliance, the value may appear blank or as a dash, and such records may not match filters that require a numeric predicted value.
If appliance data visibility is restricted, the value may also appear unavailable depending on your role or team access.
This page will give you an option to search Flex Instance Details directly. Click Flex Instance Details, next to Advanced Search and the list of registered Flex appliance will appear on the screen.
You can apply filters like Model, Status or Version for granular search. You can add more filters, if specific information is required.
