Proof of concept

Proof of concept (PoC) is a common approach which involves testing certain processes before actually executing it. A test run can confirm if the actual output is as expected or not. Information Governance scans and classifies large amounts of data using background jobs, which may take hours to complete. To reduce the time before results are visible in the Information Governance Dashboards, we have created a Proof of concept template, which will enable you to test the node faster.

After creating nodes, we recommend applying the Proof of concept template to each node. The Proof of concept node template consists of a set of pre-defined node settings to increase the frequency of job execution to make things happen faster. Remember that this template is created only for testing. We do not recommend using this template in a production environment.

To apply the Proof of concept template, navigate to Settings > Information Governance Servers > select Server Name > Node Templates > Apply a Node Template > Proof of concept.
