Ransomware scorecard enhancement for Pool Space (Patch 1)

The Ransomware Scorecard has a new data item for Pool Space issues. The following is the new data item.

Are there any backup destinations that might run out of space and cause potential backup failures?

Navigate to Reports >> Ransomware >> Double click Ransomware Scorecard option or select Ransomware Scorecard option and then click Run.

Specify the required parameters in the Ransomware Scorecard Scope Selector dialog box and then click Generate.

Ransomware Scorecard page is displayed.

The data item displays the percentage of Diskpool Volumes that have usage at 80% (threshold) or more under the Result column. The details of the Diskpool Volumes under risk of running out of space is available in the drill down report DiskPool Volume Running out of Space. Click the value displayed in the Result column and NetBackup IT Analytics displays the report.

The Diskpool usage % threshold value can be customized in System Configuration >> Ransomware tab.

Scores are determined based on the percentage of Diskpool volumes used beyond threshold of 80 percent or more.

  • 0 - 5 % Diskpool has usage above threshold: Lowest

  • 5 - 20 % Diskpool has usage above threshold: Low

  • 20 - 60 % Diskpool has usage above threshold: Middle

  • 60 - 80 % Diskpool has usage above threshold: High

  • 80 - 100 % Diskpool has usage above threshold: Highest
