Configure password policy for portal domain users
You can now configure a domain-specific password policy to ensure users set strong passwords for portal access. This provision also helps in ensuring compliance with your organizational or legal directives related to password complexity and security in portal accessability.
You can define the following password properties in the policy:
Minimum Lowercase Characters
Minimum Uppercase Characters
Minimum Numeric Characters
Minimum Special Characters
Minimum Length
Maximum Length
After you configure the password policy, the portal users will be required to set their passwords based on the criteria defined in the policy. See Configure the domain password policy in the NetBackup IT Analytics User Guide for more information.
