The following known issues are present in this release.
Table: NetBackup IT Analytics 11.1 Known Issues
Issue Number | Description |
---|---|
SC-32137 | File Analytics can be enabled either from the Host File Analytics policy or through NetBackup File Analytics policy. If you enable both for the same host, then the data appearing in the reports will not be accurate. Hence, ensure you configure File Analytics for a given host only in one policy, preferably through the NetBackup File Analytics policy. |
SC-43138 | The Performance Statistics probe of the Veritas Flex Appliance policy is unable to collect the node disk statistics details, as node_disk_% metrics are temporarily restricted in Flex Appliance /metric/federate API response |
SC-45026 | In rare condition, discrepancy has been observed in Azure Cloud Cost Spend Dashboard - Current month spend. |
SC-31736 | File Analytics can be enabled either from the Host File Analytics policy or through NetBackup File Analytics policy. If you enable both for the same host, then the data appearing in the reports will not be accurate. Hence, ensure you configure File Analytics for a given host only in one policy, preferably through the NetBackup File Analytics policy. |
SC-31099 | In case of Hyper-V Intelligent policy, the client name returned by Veritas Backup Manager is always VM UUID, regardless of the Primary VM Identifier of the Hyper-V Virtual Machine, which causes failure in collection of file metadata. This behavior also leads to IT Analytics reporting some or all such clients as unprotected. |
SC-31525 | NetBackup IT Analytics Portal installed on a Linux host will log an invalid data growth exception if the host has two or more folders with the same name in the root directory. For example, folder names /boot and /BOOT will log the exception even though the letter case is different in both the names. The exception is not logged if identical folder names are found at the subfolder levels. |
SC-32319 | File Analytics Collection Status report displays the same File Count value for both Current Collection and Previous Collection |
21948 | When running checkinstall for VMware collection, error messages may not accurately reflect the cause of the error. Inspect the collector logs for the actual cause of the error. |
SC-40668 | NetBackup IT Analytics Portal with Foundation licenses displays host groups that are unrelated with Veritas NetBackup under HostGroups Menu in Admin tab. You can ignore the Non-NetBackup hosts groups. |
SC-41008 | When a license is expired, consumed count on the license report may not show correct value. |
SC-38719 | In the report, depending on data, some of the bars are small/narrow. When you export the report, the chart image is made further smaller in width, causing the small bars not to be visible. |
SC-41611 | The on-demand backup jobs triggered using Run Now functionality (identified as BACKUPNOW jobs) from the portal remain in the NetBackup database for nearly 8 hours. The backup policies probe of Veritas NetBackup collector may not collect these jobs if its schedule is every 8 hours or higher. Workaround: Schedule the Backup Policies probe to run at least every 7 hours. |
SC-40722 SC-40721 | Systems Administration reports are designed to include error and performance data at a system level across all domains. In a multi-domain environment, if access is granted to any of these reports to users at a lower level domain, any report which includes system-wide data may expose information related to domains to which the users do not have access. As a best practice and to avoid this issue, privileges for the System Administration reports must be granted only to top-level Systems Administrators and not to users in sub-domains. If non-systems administrators have been granted privileges to these reports, remove such privileges so that only top-level Systems Administrators can see and run them. |
SC-46106 | If there are multiple arrays configured in one Infinidat InfiniGuard data collector policy, it is mandatory to select all arrays and all probes while executing an On-demand collection to avoid interim duplication of data that resolves after successful scheduled collection of all probes for all arrays. |
SC-48735 | Sometimes probe data collection ends with a warning. This issue is observed on Flex Appliance logout operation which sometime fails with the response code 502 Bad Gateway. Collection of probe is not affected and shows collection status as warning, since this is logout operation which gets executed post data collection. |
