Prerequisites for using alerts and notifications
Ensure the following before you configure the web UI for alerts and notifications using a ticketing system.
The ticketing system is up and running.
The SMTP server is up and running.
A policy is configured in the ticketing system to create tickets (or incidents) based on inbound emails that NetBackup sends.
