Veritas Technologies Unveils 2022 “Partner of the Year” Winners for the Americas

Recognizing top US, Canadian and Latin American partners for outstanding growth and innovation over the past year

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – June 9, 2022 – Veritas Technologies, a leader in multi-cloud data management, today announced the winners of its “FY22 Partner of the Year” Awards for the Americas. The awards recognize top channel partners for their contributions to the Veritas business as demonstrated by overall performance in revenue growth, program adoption, excellence in technical innovation and strategic implementation of Veritas solutions.

  As a longstanding partner, Insight has achieved recognition as Veritas’ Top National Business Partner Overall for the second consecutive year. Insight’s holistic approach in helping clients achieve their digital transformation goals combined with Veritas’ cloud-first solution strategy creates a strong partnership that solves the most complex data management challenges that organizations face today. In addition, strong executive-level alignment and active sales and marketing engagement helped Insight attain the highest overall revenue across both new and renewal business in the US.

• Top Alliance Partner of the Year: Hitachi Vantara
  Together, Hitachi and Veritas are delivering market-leading solutions that address the most critical customer needs in today’s multi-cloud world with a particular focus on helping develop cyber resiliency protection plans. Hitachi’s commitment to customers is a powerful force in driving its value as a strategic partner for Veritas, helping to deliver strong joint solutions.

• Top Cloud Partner of the Year: Microsoft 
  The Veritas and Microsoft strategic partnership gained considerable momentum in FY22 with 40% year-over-year growth in joint customer wins. Increased collaboration between engineering teams resulted in tightly integrated solutions for joint customers, helping them to protect, govern and automate Microsoft applications across IT estates and fast-track the journey to Microsoft Azure.

• Top New Business Growth National Business Partner, US: World Wide Technology
  World Wide Technology drove a 150% year-over-year increase in new business in FY22 by working closely with the Veritas sales and technical teams to build strong, trusted relationships with accounts throughout the US.

• Top Growth Regional Business Partner, US: VAST
  As a Veritas partner for more than two decades, VAST has consistently driven significant year-over-year growth by delivering high quality services and offerings to customers based on its deep expertise in data protection and management across on-premises and multi-cloud environments.

• Top Federal New Business Partner: Carahsoft 
  Exceeding their annual revenue goal by 144%, Carahsoft’s collaboration with Veritas across more than 50 unique marketing and business development initiatives in FY22 had a measurable impact on Veritas’ public sector business.

• Top Growth Business Partner, Canada: Softchoice
  Longtime partner Softchoice leveled up to Veritas Partner Force Platinum status, achieving significant year-over-year billing growth in Veritas solutions in FY22.

• Top Growth Business Partner, LAMC: Columbia Integração
  Highlighted by deals with Bradesco, Petrobrás and Prodesp, Columbia Integração achieved 300% year-over-year billing growth in FY22. The partner has a strong installed base with high on-time renewal rates thanks to excellent customer support and ongoing services.

• Top Distribution Partner, US and Canada: Ingram Micro
  Over the past year, Ingram Micro reinforced its dedication to customers and commitment as a key distribution partner for Veritas. Ingram Micro Canada grew new business by 30% year-over-year, while Ingram Micro US exceeded their managed partner growth goal by 234% year-over-year and increased their new business growth by 5% year-over-year.

• Top Distribution Partner, LAMC: Ingram Micro LAMC
  In FY22, Ingram Micro LAMC was instrumental in developing key customer relationships in Brazil while also supporting Veritas’ largest regional install base. With a strong presence across the entire LAMC region, they also played a key role in developing the Veritas business in countries such as Ecuador, where they uncovered new opportunities and helped onboard additional partners.
