Veritas Flex Appliance Data Collector policy enhancements
The Performance Statistics probe is enhanced to collect resource and storage utilization data from the containers running on the Flex Appliance. Data is collected for each container and is segregated on the basis of appliances and host nodes on which the container is running. The probe currently supports collection from Flex Appliance versions 2.0 and 2.1. You can create customized reports on the basis of the stats collected for the containers.
Some of the collected container details include:
CPU utilization
Container file system
Last seen date
Memory utilization
Details of scrape errors observed during data collection.
A new Appliance Details probe has been added to the Veritas Flex Appliance Data Collector policy. This new probe enables the policy to collect hardware and software details of the configured Veritas Flex Appliance. The probe is enabled by default and collects data independently from the other probes. The probe collects appliance details such as appliance name, UUID, and appliance type and it collects details such as node name, serial number, firmware version, and Flex version from the nodes.
See Add a Veritas Flex Appliance policy section in the NetBackup IT Analytics Data Collector Install Guide for Capacity Manager.
