Preferences: Archive Groups
The sidebar at the left of Enterprise Vault Search arranges the available archives into groups. Enterprise Vault Search comes with a predefined set of archive groups, such as Email, File, and SharePoint. The options in this pane let you create your own archive groups and organize the archives in them. You can also rearrange the archive groups in the sidebar, and choose to hide or show selected groups.

Add a new custom archive group. | Click the plus () button and then type a name for the group. |
Copy an archive to a custom archive group. | In the list, click the group that contains the archive that you want to copy to a custom archive group. (You cannot copy an archive to a predefined archive group.) Then right-click this archive in the list and click > . |
Remove a custom archive group. | In the list, click the group that you want to remove and then click the minus () button. You cannot remove a predefined archive group. |
Rename an archive group. | In the list, right-click the group that you want to rename and then click . Then type the new name for the group. You cannot rename a predefined archive group. |
Change the order in which archive groups appear in the sidebar. | In the list, right-click the group that you want to reposition and then click or . |
Hide or show an archive group in the sidebar. | In the list, select a group to show it and clear the group to hide it. |
