Deleting items from the archive

You can delete items from the archive if you have the appropriate permissions.

Deleted items can briefly remain visible, until Enterprise Vault Search has completed its updates.

To delete items from the archive

  1. Select the items in the results pane.

    To select multiple adjacent items, select the first item, hold Shift, and select the last item. To select nonadjacent items, hold Ctrl and select the items.

  2. Do one of the following:

    • Right-click and select Delete.

    • Click the Delete button in the reading pane toolbar to delete a single selected item.
