Choosing the time and date format
You can choose whether to hide or show times in the results pane and whether to show times in 12-hour or 24-hour format. You can also choose the required date format for the results and reading pane.
To choose the time and date format
- Click your user name at the top right of Enterprise Vault Search.
- Click Preferences.
- At the left of the Preferences dialog box, click Regional.
- Select or clear Show time in results and reading pane to show or hide the time in these panes.
- If you have chosen to show the time, choose whether to use the 12-hour or 24-hour format and whether to append the AM and PM suffixes to the time.
Note:
If you turn off the 24-hour format and the AM and PM suffix, the ordering of items in the results pane may appear to be incorrect. For example, if both these options are turned off, 9 PM and 10 AM appear as 9:00 and 10:00 in the results pane. If the items are arranged in ascending order of the time, the item showing 10 appears first in the results pane. This can cause confusion.
- Use the Short date and Long date option buttons to change the format of the date.
The format of the dates available in these lists varies according to the language you set.
