Preferences: General
The options in this pane let you customize the sidebar at the left of Enterprise Vault Search and select the archive or folder that you want to see when Enterprise Vault Search opens.
Show Sidebar. Hides or shows the sidebar. The sidebar lists the mailbox folders and archives to which you have access.
Show Favorites. Hides or shows the favorites list. This list provides a convenient way to keep your most frequently used folders and searches visible at the top of the sidebar. Hiding the favorites list does not change the folders and searches in the list. Any folders and searches that are shown in the favorites list when you hide the feature reappear when you turn it on again.
Last Accessed Archive or Folder. Sets Enterprise Vault Search to open with the last archive or folder that you accessed when you previously used Enterprise Vault Search.
Selected Archive or Folder. Specifies the archive or folder that is opened when you start Enterprise Vault Search. Click to select the archive or folder.
