Copying files to a vault

After building the Collection Set, select the vault into which the files will be copied.

To select a vault

  1. From the menu bar, click File > Send To Vault to open the Vault Store and Archive Location dialog.
  2. Select the vault and archive into which the files will be copied:

    • Directory/DNS Alias - Use this text box to identify the server that is running your vault(s), then click Connect.

    • Vault store - Select the vault to use.

    • Name - Select the archive to use.

    • ID, Description, Item count, Size - This information describes the selected Archive.

    • Retention category - Use this list to select how long the file(s) will be kept in the vault.

  3. Click OK, and the Ingest Connector copies the Collection Set into the vault.

Note:

The user is granted access only to vaults for which the user has write privileges.
