Setting colors

You can instruct the Ingest Connector to display files in the Evidence File List window in differing colors based on their selection status.

To display filenames in colors based on their status

  1. From the menu bar, click Tools > Options to open the Options dialog, then go to the Color > Font & Color Settings page.
  2. Use the controls to select the colors in which each file type should be displayed:

    • Select the status type from the Selected/Unselected list.

    • Click the Font and Color Select button to open a Windows standard color palette and change the color of the font.

    • Click the Background color button to open a Windows standard color palette and change the color of the text background.

    • The Ingest Connector displays an example of your selections in the Display example container.

  3. Click OK.
