NetBackup IT Analytics Exporters
NetBackup IT Analytics Exporters are introduced as an additional data collection and export mechanism to view and analyze the health of your Windows and Linux OS and NetBackup Master Servers. The exporters feed the collected metrics to NetBackup IT Analytics Data Collectors for further processing. NetBackup IT Analytics Portal processes the data from the Data Collector to generate alerts, notifications, and reports.
Each exporter described below has been developed using Prometheus framework and is installed based on the host OS.
The following exporters are installed based on the host OS:
NetBackup exporter: Exports details related to NetBackup file processing, host certificate, database file, network processes, pbx_exchange process, and block devices. Metrics are exposed on port 9099 and path /metrics.
Node exporter: Exports details of system resources like RAM, disk, CPU, and network from Linux hosts. Metrics are exposed on port 9100 and path /metrics.
Process exporter: Exports details of resources from
/proclocation on Linux hosts. Metrics are exposed on port 9256 and path /metrics..Windows exporter: Exports details of system resources like RAM, disk, CPU, and network from Windows hosts. Metrics are exposed on port 9182 and path /metrics.
See the NetBackup IT Analytics Exporter Installation and Configuration Guide for more information.
