11.0.02 patch release notes

The 11.0.02 patch release includes all the previous patches of 10.6, 11.0, and up to 10.5.00 P14 patch fixes.

Resolves an issue with Hitachi Vantara All Flash Arrays Using Scope Selector in Capacity Manager module. NetBackup IT Analytics now displays Product Name and Array Families for Hitachi Vantara All-Flash and Hybrid Flash Storage array.

SC-31225

Enhanced EMC Avamar Collection to report success status for the Utility Node Details probe for Avamar Virtual Edition. The Utility Node Details probe gets executed successfully but does not collect any data as the command (/avsys/bin/avsysreport chassis-info) is not supported. Hence, the portal displays an information message on the collection status details.

SC-38555

As a part of purging, NetBackup IT Analytics purges the data from apt_nbu_ret_level_log based on the parameter specified in NetBackup retention Level History days in Admin >> System Configuration >> Data Retention tab.

Note:

The default parameter is 30 days.

NetBackup IT Analytics is enhanced to support Apache Tomcat Java Servlet Engine version 9.0.56 for Windows and Linux OS.

SC-43004

Resolves an issue where the portal displayed a Connection Timeout error while executing Netbackup REST API.

SC-43188

Resolves an issue with Users File Export not functioning when the owner field has backslash "\" character, i.e., when the owner is a domain user.

SC-43200

Resolves an issue with the export option of Usage by Owner report in File Analytics module. While exporting the report, NetBackup IT Analytics displayed an error and failed to export.

SC-43373

Resolves an issue with FLD-3PAR-v800 storage array. NetBackup IT Analytics displayed incorrect data in Array Utilization Summary and Array Capacity & Utilization report.

SC-43444

Resolves an issue with the hostname where NetBackup IT Analytics displayed an error message when the string size of the hostname exceeded the allocated string size in the database.

SC-43859

NetBackup IT Analytics portal is enhanced with a provision to launch the NetBackup web UI from within the portal.

SC-44082

Resolves an issue during the portal upgrade. During the portal upgrade, large log files were getting generated thus causing extended time for upgrade. Following are the locations for Linux and Windows operating systems.

  • Linux: /opt/tomcat/aptare-instances/anomalydetection/logs/

  • Windows: C:\opt\tomcat\aptare-instances\anomalydetection\logs

The log files, at the above mentioned locations, will be deleted during the portal upgrade to enhance the performance of the upgrade process.

Note:

As required, ensure to create a copy of the above mentioned files before the portal upgrade.
