About the EnCase® Ingest Connector
Welcome to the EnCase® Ingest Connector, a production tool that copies files from within forensic evidence files into vaults or to designated disk locations.
The Ingest Connector can copy files from Guidance Software's® EnCase® images (.E01 files), logical evidence files (.L01 files), and DD images. Using the Ingest Connector, you can copy specifically selected individual files, and you can select sets of files based on file metadata (filename extensions and creation, modification and last accessed dates).
