The push and silent installation methods do not install the LiveUpdate agent as part of the package
The push and silent installation methods do not install the LiveUpdate agent as part of the package. To install the LiveUpdate agent, Veritas recommends that you copy the LiveUpdate binaries to the local host and install the LiveUpdate agent manually. The LiveUpdate binaries are available at the following location:
\\<dvd_root>\Addons\<platform>\LiveUpdate

Note:
If this issue affects a large number of computers, you can use a third-party application such as Altiris to install the LiveUpdate agent.
