About Cohesity Alta SaaS Protection End-User portal

Cohesity Alta SaaS Protection provides a web UI that enables you to access your data. You can also download, restore, and share the data as required using the End-User portal.

The Cohesity Alta SaaS Protection End-User portal is available in English and French only.

With the End-User portal, you can perform the following actions on your data:

  • View your data.

  • Download your data.

  • Download the data that is shared with you.

  • Share your data with other users.

  • Restore your data.

  • Restore the data that is shared with you.

Cohesity Alta SaaS Protection enables you to restore, download, and share your data in OneDrive personal sites, Exchange mailbox, Box, and files on File servers.

The Administrator of Cohesity Alta SaaS Protection must assign permissions to you to access the End-User portal and perform the required activities.

The Cohesity Alta SaaS Protection End-User portal is available in English and French only.

To access the End-User portal, open a web browser and access the End-User portal URL and enter your credentials.

The End-User portal is opened with the following options on the home page:

Description

My content

It opens the My Content page. The page displays the Stors that are configured for your tenant in Cohesity Alta SaaS Protection. If you click the Stor, you can see your backed-up data.

Recent

It opens the page that displays the items you have accessed within the last 30 days on the End-User portal.

Shared

It opens a page with two sub-pages:

  • Shared with me page: It displays the items other users or administrators have shared with you using either the Administration or End-User portal.

  • Shared by me page: It displays the items you have shared with other users using the End-User portal.

You can share, download, and restore any items that are listed on the My Content, Recent, Shared with me, and Shared by me pages. You cannot share the items that are shared with you, which are listed on the Shared with me page.
