Restore Exchange mailbox data

Follow these steps to restore your Exchange mailbox, a folder in the Exchange mailbox, and individual messages.

Note:

When restoring large amounts of data directly back into a mailbox, ensure the amount of data being exported does not exceed any mailbox quotas.

To restore your Exchange mailbox data

  1. Open a web browser and access the End-User portal.
  2. On the left, either click My Content (to restore your own data) or click Shared > Shared with me (To restore the data that is shared with you).
  3. Click the Stor that holds your mailbox data.

    All the items in the Stor are displayed on the page.

  4. Browse for the required item.
  5. Select checkboxes of the items that need to be restored.
  6. Click Restore.
  7. On the Restore page, do the following as required:
    • From the Restore Type drop-down list, select Email.

    • From the Destination drop-down list, select the required export location.

    • To restore data to your own Exchange mailbox, do the following:

      • Click User mailbox.

      • Enter your email address in Mailbox address email address.

    • If you want to restore data to other folder instead of Inbox, click Browse. On the Restore page, select the required target folder for restore.

    • Click Restore.

  8. Navigate to the destination location to confirm that the restore has happened successfully.
