Restore OneDrive/SharePoint stubbed item from the SharePoint sites by clicking the stub

Cohesity Alta SaaS Protection enables you to restore or download stubbed items within your SharePoint Online account.

To restore OneDrive/SharePoint stubbed item from the SharePoint sites by clicking the stub

  1. Access your SharePoint Online account.
  2. Click on the stubbed item.

    Based on your permissions one of the following can happen:

    • The Cohesity Alta SaaS Protection End-User portal is displayed. The options to restore or download the stubbed item are displayed.

    • The selected stubbed item is downloaded.

  3. Click Restore or Download.

    The progress is displayed.

    Note:

    If you do not see the options, contact your backup administrator.

Note the following details:

  • The items are only restored to original locations.

  • The latest version of the item is restored.

  • After restoring or downloading the item, its last modified date is updated to the current time, ensuring that the item is not selected by the configured Stub policy.

Note:

Contact your backup administrator if any issues are observed during the restore process.
