Restore files on the File server

Use the following procedure to restore your files that are stored on the Cohesity Alta SaaS Protection Stors.

To restore your files on the File server

  1. Open a web browser and access the End-User portal.
  2. On the left, either click My Content (To restore your own data) or click Shared > Shared with me (To restore the data that is shared with you).
  3. Click the Stor that holds your files.

    All the items in the Stor are displayed on the page.

  4. Browse for the required item.
  5. Select checkboxes of the items that need to be restored.
  6. Click Restore.
  7. On the Restore page, do the following as required:
    • From the Restore Type drop-down list, select File.

    • From the Destination drop-down list, select the required export location.

    • (Optional) Enter the email addresses of the users who need to get notification about restore.

    • Click Restore.

  8. Navigate to the destination location to confirm that the restore has happened successfully.
