Changing service accounts
Change Service Account lets you reconfigure the credentials that comprise the Backup Exec service account.
Before the new service account configuration can take effect, you must stop and restart the services on the Backup Exec server.
See Starting Backup Exec services.

To change a Backup Exec server service account
- Select a Backup Exec server from either a Backup Exec server group or from All Backup Exec Servers.
- In the task pane, under Services Tasks, click Change Service Account.
- Change the account options as appropriate.
- Click OK.
- Click Close when the service account changes are completed.
