Running and scheduling Office 365 synchronization events
You can run an Office 365 synchronization on demand, or set up a synchronization schedule.
Note:
You must complete the required configuration options on the Office 365 Config and Provisioning pages before you can run or schedule synchronization events.
To run an Office 365 synchronization on demand
- In the left navigation pane of Archive Administration, under My Config, click Office 365 Config.
Note:
The Office 365 Config page is displayed only if you chose Microsoft Office 365 as a provisioning option on the User Management page.
- Click Run Now.
Note:
This option synchronizes all users, including any users who were synchronized in previous events. This option takes longer than regular synchronization events. This option also resets your saved synchronization schedule. We recommend that you reconfigure your synchronization schedule after the full synchronization event finishes.
To schedule Office 365 synchronization events
- In the left navigation pane of Archive Administration, under My Config, click Office 365 Config.
Note:
The Office 365 Config page is displayed only if you chose Microsoft Office 365 as a provisioning option on the User Management page.
- In the Sync Scheduler section, select On to enable the scheduler.
- In the Start field, select a start date and time for the synchronization schedule.
- In the Repeat field, select the frequency of the synchronization events.
- Click Save to save the schedule.
Note:
It may take up to 12 hours for the first synchronization event to occur, or for any changes to be made.
