- Archive Administration Known Issues
Archive Administration Known Issues
This document provides information about the known issues that currently exist in Archive Administration.
General issues
You currently cannot schedule deployment of Personal Archive web folders for Microsoft Office 365 users.
Workaround - deploy web folders manually.
If you click on certain pages in the My Config section, you are redirected to the My Config page instead of the next page.
The Microsoft Office 365 Outlook Web App (OWA) does not support the Outlook feature to show a home page by default for a folder. Therefore, you cannot access a Personal Archive web folder from Microsoft Office 365.
The search functionality in Archive Administration currently does not fully support Chinese, Japanese, Korean (CJK) Unified Ideographs.
For more information, see the CJK Unified Ideographs section of the Unicode 7.0 Character Code Charts.
Archive Overview page
The archive overview information and Archive Full Usage Report cannot be exported to a file.
Office 365 Config page
The URL field in the Office 365 PowerShell Credentials section is currently not pre-populated.
Workaround - enter https://ps.outlook.com/powershell for Microsoft Exchange Online access into this field.
Provisioning page
The state of selected distribution lists is not retained when you close the Select Group Name window in the Archive Provisioning section.
The Personal Archive Access section of the Personal Archive Deployment options should only display if you selected the Microsoft Office 365 provisioning option.
Accounts page
You must enter all alias email addresses for each archive account. If you do not enter an alias email address, archived messages for that email address go to the Unassigned Legacy Account. If required, you can submit a request for reassignment of messages from the Unassigned Legacy Account to our data management team.
When you search for archive accounts, you cannot use the alias field as a search criteria.
When you create a new archive account, we recommend that you add Common Names as an alias.
When you disable an archive account, new messages that are sent to that account are no longer saved to that archive. Disabling an archive account does not result in the archive being deleted and the settings for that account are not changed.
When you delete an archive account, the archived messages for that account are also deleted.
Role Management page
Users must log out and log back in to their archive account before changes to their role or permissions take effect.
Box File Archiving
In the User List, the Mapped status for a user does not change to No when you delete their Box account.
Workaround - disable Box File Archiving for the user manually.
See Enabling or disabling file collection manually for mapped users.
Once you link your Box account, new Box users are automatically mapped even if you disable the Map and Collect Users option. Since the Box File Archiving service automatically maps new users, you cannot disable mapping.
Workaround - disable Box File Archiving for users manually.
See Enabling or disabling file collection manually for mapped users.
Salesforce Chatter Archiving
Salesforce Chatter Archiving is not automatically disabled when you clear on the account details page.
Workaround - disable Salesforce Chatter Archiving for the user manually.
The option to enable Chatter on the account details page is not disabled for the organizations that do not subscribe to Salesforce Chatter Archiving.
The information that is displayed in the Salesforce Chatter Archiving summary may be inaccurate.
Extended ASCII characters are currently not displayed properly in the Subject field for Chatter posts.
Workaround - users can view the text from Chatter posts in the message body where the information is also provided.
The Chatter post that indicates a new Salesforce Chatter Group was created is currently not archived properly.
Note:
Subsequent Chatter posts to the new group are archived properly.
