May 2015 updates
The following product updates were made available as part of the May 2015 release of Archive Administration.
New Feature:
Support for Lync On-Premises Archiving:
The Archive Collectors section includes a new Lync page, from where you can enable and disable the Lync On-Premises Archiving feature. You must enable this feature before you can configure the Enterprise Vault.cloud Lync Connector application to archive content from Microsoft Lync Server.
To access the new Lync page, your account must be assigned to an administration role that includes the new Configure Lync Archival permission.
The Lync Connector application supports the archiving of content from Lync Server 2010 and 2013. The application will become available shortly after the May 2015 release of Archive Administration.
Enhancements:
Office 365 Sync user interface updates:
The Office 365 Config and Office 365 Sync pages have been combined into a single page. All Office 365 Sync related tasks can now be performed from the updated Office 365 Config page. These tasks include configuring the service, scheduling synchronizations, running full synchronizations, and reviewing reports.
Single Sign-On support for Discovery.cloud and Archive Administration:
The Enterprise Vault.cloud authentication service can now be configured to provide single sign-on access for users of Discovery.cloud and Archive Administration. The single sign-on solutions supported for Discovery.cloud and Archive Administration currently include AD FS 2.0, 2.1, and 3.0, OneLogin and Okta.
For assistance with configuring single sign-on access for Discovery.cloud and Archive Administration, contact Veritas Services & Support.
