November 2012 updates
The following product updates were made available as part of the November 2012 release of Archive Administration.
New Features:
Retention management functionality updated - the retention management functionality has been updated to let administrators create multiple retention policies. These retention policies can then be assigned to the Active Directory groups that were synchronized using ArchiveTools CloudLink or to managed tags.
New retention log report added - administrators can now generate reports summarizing retention management changes from the Logs page in the Reporting section.
Box and Salesforce Chatter Archiving - archiving of files from Box and posts, private and public messages, and file attachments from Salesforce Chatter is not supported. Administrators of the organizations that subscribe to these services can manage them from the Archive Collectors section.
SharePoint 2010 Archiving - Enterprise Vault.cloud now supports archiving of files from on-premise Microsoft SharePoint 2010 servers.
User interface updates:
New Storage Expiry page - the Expiration Management page was updated to improve usability and is now called the Storage Expiry page.
Managed tags - retention tags are now referred to as managed tags. The new Managed Tags page that lets administrators create and associate these tags to retention policies is now located in the My Config section.
Enhancements:
Office 365 account synchronization improved - user email address changes are now synchronized automatically from Microsoft Office 365. If an administrator assigns a new primary email address to a user and makes the old address an alias, these changes are automatically synchronized to Enterprise Vault.cloud
Application performance improved - updates have been implemented to improve the overall performance of the Archive Administration.
Fixes:
Activity Log issue fixed - an issue with the Timestamp that is displayed in the Activity Log has been addressed. Before this release, the Timestamp was displayed in Pacific Standard Time regardless of the time zone that was selected for the company. After this release, the time zone that is set for the company determines the Timestamp that is displayed.
Welcome Message issue fixed - an issue with the archive access URL that is displayed in the Welcome Message Template section on the Provisioning page has been addressed.
Disabled Users list issues fixed - issues with incorrect accounts being displayed and accounts not being removed properly from the Disabled Users page have been addressed.
Reset password issue fixed - an issue with an error being displayed when users use the Forgot Password functionality on the log in page has been addressed.
Office 365 Sync issue fixed - an issue with the Office 365 Sync Scheduler running repeatedly even when is unchecked has been addressed.
Office 365 Sync issue fixed - an issue with the Office 365 Sync Scheduler not saving the Enabled state for running synchronization events has been addressed.
Identity Provider URL issue fixed - an issue preventing Identity Provider URLs that link directly to an authentication page from being validated has been addressed.
