About Enterprise Vault.cloud Archive Administration
Veritas Enterprise Vault.cloud™ is a cloud-based archiving service that lets your organization store, manage, and discover email messages and other business-critical information. Once your organization enables the service, it can journal a copy of all the messages that are sent and received within your organization to Enterprise Vault.cloud.
Archive Administration is a web-hosted interface that enables administrators to configure and manage Enterprise Vault.cloud.
Archive Administration lets administrators perform the following tasks:
Provision and manage Enterprise Vault.cloud archive accounts.
Configure and manage the archiving of content sources.
Assign and manage user roles.
Manage archiving options and policies.
Manage retention policies and tags.
Configure classification for the emails that meet enabled classification policies.
Manage the Email Continuity option.
Generate usage reports.
Recent updates to Archive Administration include the following enhancements:
The Spring 2019 release for Enterprise Vault.cloud delivers secure capture, indexing, and archival of Instant Bloomberg and Bloomberg messages for customers in the financial services industry using a Bloomberg Terminal.
Enhanced visibility into product usage and sync activity
Upon logging on to the Administration console, designated administrators can see a new tabbed layout with an updated welcome and Archive Overview page. They can instantly view their current product usage and status of their CloudLink and Office 365 syncs.
Click-to-acknowledge in-product usage alerts
Enterprise Vault.cloud offers organizations the flexibility to add users as needed, even if they have to go over their currently licensed amount. Customers already have the ability to enable usage alert notifications, which automatically send an email to administrations when a specified user threshold is reached. Now, if customers are near or over their currently licensed amount, a screen pops up when they log on to the Administration console asking them acknowledge they are aware of their usage is over their currently licensed amount. In addition, designated administrators receive a daily email notification asking them to log on to the Administration console and acknowledge their usage if they are over their minimum commit.
Updated platform support
Enterprise Vault.cloud now supports Microsoft Outlook 2019, ADFS 4.0, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). For more information, see https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/doc/116255045-116255056-1.
Increased email attachment size limit
Attachments of up to 200 MB can be included in email.
Information about the changes that were included with earlier releases of Archive Administration is provided elsewhere in this help.
For full details of all the updates in each release of the Enterprise Vault.cloud service suite, see the Enterprise Vault.cloud release notes.
