Upload a token-signing certificate
After you saved details for Bloomberg Settings, you must upload a token-signing certificate.
You must upload a valid token-signing certificate to enable Enterprise Vault.cloud to decrypt and archive the messages for the Bloomberg firm code. If the token-signing certificate changes for the Bloomberg firm code, you can upload the new token-signing certificate to replace the existing one.
The Upload Encryption Key section displays after you complete the Bloomberg Settings section.
Once a token-signing certificate is associated with your Bloomberg L.P. Professional service, you are presented with a Warning message the next time Bloomberg page loads.
To upload a token-signing certificate
- In the Upload Encryption Key section, click Browse and Upload.
- In the windows that displays, navigate to the file location of the token-signing certificate that is associated with your Bloomberg L.P. Professional service.
Note:
The token-signing certificate that you upload much have a .cer, .crt or .PGP extension.
- Complete the Upload Encryption Key, enter the required details as follows:
Passphrase: Enter the pass phrase for the PGP private key.
Confirm Passphrase: Re-enter the passphrase for the PGP private key.
- Click Upload to upload the token-signing certificate to Enterprise Vault.cloud.
To upload a new token-signing certificate
- In the Upload Encryption Key section, click Edit and Upload.
- In the windows that displays, navigate to the file location of the token-signing certificate that is associated with your Bloomberg L.P. Professional service.
Note:
The token-signing certificate that you upload much have a .cer, .crt or .PGP extension.
- Complete the Upload Encryption Key, enter the required details as follows:
Passphrase: Enter the pass phrase for the PGP private key.
Confirm Passphrase: Re-enter the passphrase for the PGP private key.
- Click Upload to upload the new token-signing certificate to Enterprise Vault.cloud.
