We are pleased to announce that Backup Exec now fully supports Windows Server 2025, providing you with comprehensive backup protection for your Windows Server 2025 environments. This new capability ensures that your critical data on Windows Server 2025 is securely backed up and readily available for recovery whenever you need it, offering you peace of mind in the event of system failures or data loss.

Along with this important update, we've also introduced several product enhancements aimed at improving performance, reliability, and user experience. These updates enhance the efficiency of your backup processes, helping them run more smoothly and optimizing the overall performance of your system. This update will patch Backup Exec 24.0 (24.0.1041) to Backup Exec 24.0 (24.0.1041.1126)

• Addressed the failure of Microsoft M365 backup jobs with error 0xe00081ca - "The script file is corrupt."
• Resolved the failure of Microsoft M365 OneDrive consolidation job with error 0xe0000904 - "An error occurred while retrieving catalog information."
• Improved OneDrive (OD) backup job performance.
• Resolved the failure of Microsoft M365 OneDrive user account backups with error code 67113881/815 - "Access is denied," an issue experienced by only a small subset of users. [401] 
• Resolved the situation where the Microsoft M365 Teams Site's Forever Incremental backup job would hang.
• Addressed the failure of Microsoft M365 SharePoint restore with error codes "67113864/1000" and "67108879/110" for document libraries with similar folder names.
• Resolved the occasional failure of Microsoft 365 SharePoint backup with error code 67113864/1000 - "A request to SharePoint Online has returned an error. Message: The operation has timed out." (100070717)
• Resolved the issue where Microsoft Office 365 SharePoint site incremental backups would hang. (100071241)
• Addressed the failure of Exchange GRT restore from dedupe with error "0xe00003be - Cannot open one or more mail messages because of unknown errors reading data from the EDB file."
• Addressed the situation where the Backup Exec Server service (beserver) failed to start after installing the Managed Backup Exec Server (MBES) option, resulting in an internal error (-1) in object 50.

• Update SDR media.
• It is recommended to reboot the system(s) after applying an On-Demand Patch or Feature Pack.
