Checking the shipping packages
Before unpacking devices, verify that the packages are intact and undamaged.
The appliance package should include the following items:
The appliance
Mounting rails for the appliance
Snap-in screw locks for attaching the appliance to the rack
Two AC-power cords for the appliance
An envelope containing license information and a USB stick that contains the factory ISO image.
If one or more storage shelves are included with the appliance, each storage shelf package should contain the following:
A 3U16 storage shelf
Mounting rails for each shelf
Screws to attach the rails to the rack
Snap-in screw locks to secure the screws that attach the rails to the rack
Two AC-power cords for each shelf
Two SAS2 cords for each shelf
