10.6.00 P4 patch release notes

The 10.6.00 P4 release includes all patch fixes up to and including 10.5.00 P11. The following changes are included in this release.

Resolves an issue with Hitachi Ops Center data collection where the Array Capacity probe failed with an error message No Array Port found while saving Storage Path.

Resolves an issue with Huawei OceanStor data collection where the Array Capacity probe failed due to an unauthorized error response received while terminating a REST API session by invoking Huawei OceanStor to log out from REST API.

Compliance RTO / RPO, under Risk Mitigation rule, is enhanced to incorporate a new Include Backup in Last (Days) parameter. The user can now configure the previous days to back up the jobs.

Resolves an issue with fixed package compilation which occurred while importing the database to 10.6 environment and subsequently upgrade of the portal failed.

Resolves an issue for vmware where tags.db file was not getting deleted when multiple instances of a collection executed same time.

Resolves an issue with VMware data collector where probes were failing when IP Address is set as virtual center server/ESX.

Resolves an issue with dashboard. When the user executes a dashboard from Report menu, the scope selected was not displayed in the portlets of the dashboard.

Resolves an issue during upgrade from version 10.5 P4 to 10.6 P3.

SC-36355

While upgrading first time to version 10.6 or later, the evaluation license can be utilized as:

  • The upgrade also succeeds using Evaluation license.

  • During the upgrade, the utility can accept more than one license.

  • Portal upgrade utility compares the used capacity and entitled capacity in the new license. If the entitled capacity is less than the used capacity, upgrade utility displays warning message but allows to continue with the upgrade. However, User must be ensure compliance with the Veritas licensing to access all the features of the portal.

The Microsoft Azure Data Collector for Billing probe is enhanced to incorporate default value for Schedules as Every day at 03:00 instead of 4 Hours daily.
