Overview

In addition to random sampling, you can configure searches to run on a schedule that is created based on your business needs. You can configure schedules to run searches at set times or set intervals, or when SQL server agent starts or when CPU(s) are idle.

The SQL Server Agent service is responsible for managing search schedules, so you must ensure that it is running. For instructions on how to configure the SQL Server Agent service, see the Enterprise Vault™ Compliance Accelerator Installation Guide. You can view the search schedules in SQL Server Management Studio.
