10.5.00 P6 patch release notes

The 10.5.00 P6 release includes all patch fixes up to and including 10.4.00 P10. The following changes are included in this release.

Resolves an issue with Array Capacity overview report displaying in-correct capacities. Earlier, only raw capacity was re-calculated during subsequent collections. Now, total raw capacity, raw allocated and raw available is also re-calculated for SDK products.

SC-30979

Resolves an issue with Array Capacity and Utilization report where the physical capacity was not displayed due to length of consumable blocks and number of blocks going beyond certain limit for SVC arrays.

The NetBackup policy supports Kerberos-based authentication for data collection.

Resolves an issue when purging of obsolete data.

SC-31607

Resolves an issue with collector config generation process where the collector config was getting re-generated every minute with no actual changes to policies or collector configurations. The issue was observed for data collector upgrade to 10.5 GA (till 10.5.00 P5) release version that used AES encryption.

SC-31838

Backup Volume by NetBackup Policy report has been enhanced to display standard size unit as GiB.

Also, the following name of the policies has been modified and is applicable only for the above report:

  • MS-Windows-NT is now MS-Windows.

  • Standard is now Unix/Linux.

APTARE SDK Data protection API com.aptare.dataprotection.saveProtectionPolicy API is enhanced to collect and persist additional information like description, type, nextRunTime, lastRunStartTime, lastRunEndTime, lastRunDuration and lastRunStatus. This additional information is available as part of apt_v_dp_policy policy view. Also, APTARE SDK framework is enhanced to support extension of user-defined SDK entity from com.aptare.dataprotection.saveProtectionPolicy API.

Resolves an issue with reports where Domain should be selected. When a user at lower sub-domain shares report with User's Home Group scope, the report data did not restricts to domain specific users.
