Multi-Language support

APTARE IT Analytics is now also available in simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean and French. The product user interface, in-product help, and online documentation is available in the selected language. The locale for new users is set up based on browser region and language. For existing users, it can be changed in the Portal Web UI by accessing your User Profile. The default will be English/US.

In a Linux environment, the Database and Portal installers automatically select the language based on the $LANG environment variable of the machine you are installing on. Supported languages are English, French, Japanese, Korean and Simplified Chinese.

Due to an installer limitation, only English and French are available for selection with the following:

  • Windows Portal installer

  • Windows Database installer

  • Windows upgrader

  • Linux upgrader

Note:

The Portal Web UI offers full language support, irrespective of the installer/upgrader language. After the installation or upgrade is complete, the full language set is available in the Portal through your User Profile. (SC-24882)
