Description

SC-23697

Adds support for the upgrade of the SDK Developer Tool along with any standard Data Collector upgrades. This enhancement only applies to installations that include an SDK package for data collector development. Installations without the SDK package are not impacted.

SC-20649

With release 10.5, data collectors offer asymmetric encryption, also known as public-key cryptography. Prior to release 10.5 data collectors use symmetric encryption - a single key to encrypt and decrypt the data. For upgrades, you can choose to continue to use the symmetric encryption method or configure an added layer of security when collecting data with asymmetric encryption. The new encryption is available by editing your data collector, generating a new key file, and following the setup steps in the documentation.

On the data receiver, the maximum number of possible database connections, by default, is increased to 125.

SC-30188

NetBackUp data collector is enhanced to support Oracle and MS-SQL Server Intelligent policy type.
