10.5.00 P5 patch release notes

The 10.5.00 P5 release includes all patch fixes up to and including 10.4.00 P9. The following changes are included in this release.

Resolves an issue with failing collection due to multibyte characters in the filePath data. Added checks to trim the data appropriately.

Resolves an issue with generation of collectorConfig XML due to an internal error in third-party jar.

SC-30783

Resolves an issue with Operational Data Probe. Earlier, if any command returned empty, the status displayed was Warning. The status is now displayed as Success.

SC-31100

The APTARE ServiceNow App allows APTARE job notes to track the status changes of the ServiceNow ticket associated with the failed job. Enhanced the product installer so the APTARE database triggers required for these automatic updates are now created by default.

SC-29344

Resolves an issue with RTD. If a new RTD was created with appropriate configurations, it was not displayed in the Inventory.

SC-30286

Resolves an issue with Change Password utility. If the database portal or sysdba/system user password contained special characters, login failed. The changeDBPassword utility has been enhanced to support special characters.

Note:

Password must not have double quotes, back tick, backslash, or / and blank space.

SC-30442

Resolves an issue where SAML configuration fails when the SAML federation metadata file path contains a space in it..

SC-30478

Resolves an export to csv file format issue for two reports, Storage Capacity overtime and Object store usage over time.

SC-29379

Resolves an issue with connector deployment. If the database portal or sysdba/system user password contained special characters, connector deployment failed. The connector deployment has been enhanced to support special characters.

Note:

If database portal or sysdba/system user contains special characters in the password like <, >, and etc. and plain text password is entered manually in the datrcvrproperties.xml file, ensure that the password is entered based on the instruction provided in the https://docs.oracle.com/cd/A97335_02/apps.102/bc4j/developing_bc_projects/obcCustomXml.htm

SC-30675

Resolves an issue with in-appropriate search message displayed. In Admin module, when a user performs search using User and Privileges dialog box, in-appropriate message of the search result was displayed.

SC-30683

Resolves the issue of two pre-defined methods, Generic Job Vendor and Job Product Type, which were not getting displayed in the Job Enterprise Object.

SC-30890

Resolves an issue related to reporting of the incorrect number of VMs in a cluster by avoiding overwriting of VM information by VMs in another cluster.

SC-31000

Resolves an issue in the process of issue ticket updates from ServiceNow to APTARE. APTARE creates a ticket and communicates with ServiceNow. However, APTARE was not getting updated with the ticket status from ServiceNow to APTARE.

SC-31168

Resolves an issue of upgrade due to unique index failure for NetApp Cluster.
