OWA 2000: Removing OWA virtual directories, forms registrations and proxy bypass list

To remove the extensions configuration from back-end Exchange 2000 computers

  1. In an active/passive Exchange 2000 cluster, run the following command on the active node first, and then run it on the passive node.
  2. Open a command prompt window.
  3. Enter the following command on a single line:

    C:\Program Files\Enterprise Vault\OWA>cscript Backend2000Setup.wsf /remove

    This deletes the Enterprise Vault OWA virtual directories (\EnterpriseVaultPublic, \EnterpriseVaultExchange, \EVOWA), forms registrations, and removes the proxy bypass list configuration that was added when the extensions were configured.

You run the script on back-end Exchange 2000 computers only. On front-end Exchange 2000 computers the extensions are installed but do not need to be configured.
