Enterprise Vault™ Uninstalling OWA Extensions

OWA 2003: Removing virtual directories, forms registrations and proxy bypass list

To remove the extensions configuration from front-end Exchange Server 2003 computers

  1. Open a command prompt window.
  2. Enter the following command on a single line:

    C:\Program Files\Enterprise Vault\OWA>cscript FrontEnd2003Setup.wsf /remove

    This deletes the virtual directory \EnterpriseVaultProxy and removes the proxy bypass list configuration that was added when the extensions were configured.

To remove the extensions configuration from back-end Exchange Server 2003 computers

  1. In an active/passive Exchange Server 2003 cluster, run the following command on the active node first, and then run it on the passive node.
  2. Open a command prompt window.
  3. Enter the following command on a single line:

    C:\Program Files\Enterprise Vault\OWA>cscript Backend2003Setup.wsf /remove

    This deletes the Enterprise Vault OWA virtual directories (\EnterpriseVaultProxy, \EnterpriseVaultPublic, \EnterpriseVaultExchange, \EVOWA), forms registrations, and removes the proxy bypass list configuration that was added when the extensions were configured.
