Prerequisites for configuring the NetBackup client
Before configuring the NetBackup client for Access Appliance, you must have completed the following:
Add the valid licenses on the NetBackup primary server.
Make sure that host names of the primary server and the NetBackup client installed on Access Appliance can be resolved and the reverse lookup is working.
The file system used for the NetBackup client configuration should be a minimum of 10 GB with a 5-way striped layout. The client configuration uses 1 GB or less of space of the file system, and the remaining space is used for NetBackup Accelerator track logs. The size of the file system must be decided based on the the backup policies that have been created. See https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.100045746 for more details.
