Supported upgrade paths if continuous replication is configured

The following describes the supported upgrade paths to Veritas Access version 8.1 if continuous replication is configured on the cluster.

Direct upgrade path
You can upgrade directly from version 7.4.3, 7.4.3.x, 8.0, 8.0.x, and 8.0.100.1 to version 8.1.
Multi-step upgrade path
If the appliance is running a version earlier than 7.4.3, you must first upgrade to 7.4.3, 7.4.3.x, 8.0, or 8.0. x before you can upgrade to version 8.1.

Note:

Rolling upgrade is not supported from any pre-7.4.3 version to any post-7.4.3 version if continuous replication is configured.
